Carr Cabinets - Kitchen & Design

Lighthouse Drive

Our Palm City couple recently relocated and wanted a change from their northern decor style. and they started by renovating the kitchen. We did not want to change the footprint because we were keeping the existing white tiles and did not have any more to work with. So we started by replacing the all dark wood cabinets with new, semi-custom two tone cabinetry in Ivory and a beautiful mid-tone Maple wood with a Thyme Accent Stain.

Small changes made a big improvements for our clients by adding a deep cabinet over the refrigerator for a more built in look plus taking down the bar top to one level for more countertop space. We swapped the standard over-the-range microwave for a sleek, stainless steel hood and changed up the design with accent open shelving and new glass doors. We also updated to new LED under cabinet lights that now accentuate the beautiful, traditional herringbone patterned glass subway tile backsplash.  In January 2024, this kitchen proudly won 2nd place for Best Kitchen Design by Legacy Cabinetry.
