Small changes make a huge impact on this 1990 home located in the gated community of Egret Cove at Maplewood in Jupiter, Florida! Updating cabinetry, new flooring, minor wall demo and rearranging the appliances allowed for more storage, more countertop space and comfortable seating. We began by removing a non-structural pass thru that divides the kitchen and family room from the front of the home. Then we removed the drywall pantry area and replaced it with 24″ deep pantry storage with pull out shelves for more accessible storage.
Moving the refrigerator and centering the stove offered more countertop workspace where needed and allowed for a feature wall with a new stainless steel hood. Other details include easy to use drawers, taller 42″ upper cabinets with cove crown molding, a built in microwave drawer and a newly expanded island configuration that now offers comfortable seating for four. Plus, all new waterproof vinyl flooring finished the final look!
