Recently named one of Port St. Lucie’s best places to retire, take a look inside this cabinetry and countertop renovation in Valencia Walk at Riverland—a great example of how builder-grade spaces can be elevated for comfortable, modern Florida living. The original cabinets and layout didn’t reflect the quality or style our homeowners wanted, so we reworked the design for better flow and function.
In the kitchen, midtone maple wood paired with soft white cabinetry adds warmth without feeling heavy. Satin bronze hardware and a full quartz backsplash keep everything clean and cohesive, while the mitered edge Taj Mahal quartzite island brings in a natural focal point. Plus a custom painted, sloped hood with Brass strapping adds a touch of luxury.
The primary bathroom was updated with soft Shaker Sand cabinetry and chrome accents for a calm, simple feel. A new tiled shower with a floating bench adds both function and a more finished look.
Guest bathrooms feature mitered edge quartz countertops with cashew stained maple cabinetry, along with improved storage. The powder room gets bold, with darker tones, fluted doors, and thick mitered tops for added contrast.
This project shows how thoughtful updates can make a big difference. See the before pictures and renders below:
