Ray Avenue

This kitchen shows how important it is to have a good design! Our clients presented a few ideas, wants and needs for their kitchen remodel. With some interior wall changes, we helped them achieve them all!

The first request was a large, eat-in island. The next request was a larger laundry room, ideally separated from the kitchen and the third big one was extra storage space.

Taking down the non-structural bridge to the peninsula, and building a new floor to ceiling wall in the opposite direction, we changed the small, old galley kitchen into a huge L-shape kitchen and island. Then we created a wonderful new laundry and mudroom area perfect for busy school age kids, a pet feeding area and behind the scenes storage. Amazing how building a wall, instead of always removing them, would give so much more functional space! The house actually feels bigger, more purposeful and we couldn’t be more proud.
